Spencer Lapidary Visiting my old stomping ground-Elwood, Indiana -I had the pleasure to meet Mark Bennett. Spencer’s has been around for 20 years and I am happy to say that Mark has taken what Glen Spencer started and nurtured Spencer’s into a world class resource. A WONDERFUL reference site (I have it bookmarked now) and great place to visit! Support small town USA, and it doesn’t get much smaller than Elwood, Indiana! Mark and Tina handle stones, fetishes (no, not stilettos-I asked) as well as offering a resource for crystals and spheres!
The Pet Portretteer I lived in the Netherlands and worked as a designer in 1986. I roomed with Karen Kommer, a talented photographer. She creates incredible pet portraits with with the wonderful sense of humor and design that only the Dutch can pull off!!! I love Karen and have sent her all kinds of pictures, and then wait impatiently to see what she sends back! Always fun, and always uniquely Karen. She works with collage, photoshop and creates unique, beautiful one of a kind works of art and can really capture the personality of a pet! Great gifts!!!
