The Color of Dialogue
This entry addresses using color around your throat/neck center to help you with speaking and communication. Perhaps one of the most often asked questions when I present as The Queen of Color™ pertains to my wardrobe. I am not sure what people expect, perhaps a rainbow caftan or floral moo-moo…something flamboyant. I know I can disappoint showing up with all my conservative earth tones and “grounding” colors. But, the one thing that does stand out is my jewelry, in particular my necklaces. Click here for the link.
Emotional Eating and the Color Orange
One of my most common questions regarding weight release is about emotional eating, followed up by binge eating. Although they are similar due to perceived lack of control, binge eating and emotional eating are a bit different. Emotional eating is to subconsciously fill a void and can involve ALL aspects of emotions…eating when happy and celebrating, depressed, angry, the entire gamut of emotions which can drive us to food. The Healing Color of Blue
There are many resources out there concerning color therapy and using color in healing. Perhaps one of the most asked questions is about healing and how color can help the body speed up the healing process. Last August when I spoke about the role of color in hypnosis at the International Convention for the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) many in the room referred to green being the color for healing.
I have read several books that refer to green for healing. This is a misnomer and green needs to be used sparingly, particularly for viral infections, bacterial infections and cancer. Why? Green promotes growth! It is all about new beginnings and inspires relationships and growth, and growing is the last thing you want a tumor to do. For more click here: Healing and Blue
The Color of Infertility/Fertility
I can usually count on two questions through presentations, e-mails, and in readings. The first is “why do I keep attracting jerks” (answer: “Mirror, Mirror”) and the second, I answered in the Kick!
“Am I ever going to get pregnant?” Click here for this full entry: Color of Fertility
(don’t) GO RED!
This entry talks about the awareness campaign for women’s heart health, everyone is aware of the “wear red!” I just ask that you consider the consequences of so much red and what it can do to your blood pressure. Click here for the link.
The Color of Alzheimer’s
If you know of someone experiencing the lessons of Alzheimer’s, see if they have any yellow in their environment. To read the entry on Alzheimer’s and the color yellow Click here. Color of Alzheimer
